Principal's Message
Saint Mark spoke these word often: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength!”
It is my distinct honour to be the leader of this wonderful Catholic learning community. I promise to strive and work together with the students, parents, and Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, to unlock the talents and abilities of our students for a brighter future. This will be achieved through engaging students in a rich Catholic Education which is deeply rooted in the love that Jesus has for all of us. Together, it is our duty to provide for our students the necessary opportunities to reach their full potential and to also challenge their minds, so that they can come to learn new skills to achieve success.
We are proud of the staff at St. Mark and trust that you will appreciate the professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm that we offer as we cooperate with you, the parents and guardians, in providing the best possible education for our students.
The staff and students at St. Mark use Restorative Practices. We have four community agreements among us: Attentive Listening, Appreciation/no put downs, The right to pass, and Mutual Respect. These agreements are instrumental for building a positive school climate.
Our school motto is: Pride in Faith, Self, and Learning.
